May 2012 - well, what can we say? It certainly felt like one of the wettest Mays for many years. The
fields on the eastern side of the river, opposite the Pightle, suffered flooding going back a good half-mile
from the bank, and the slightly lower-lying areast on our side, near the Rivermill, also got submerged.
The Pightle is lucky to lie a little higher, and remained above the water level. The alternation of rain
and sunny spells may have put visitors off for a while, but our flora absolutely love it, as you can see.
