October brought a rather abrupt end to the warm weather. Trees turned from green to gold, the final berries
ripened, and early in the morning the Pightle has a very different, almost ghostly feel with mist rising off the
river and mingling with the rising sun. In this sequence you can see our brand-new bench down by the river, having just
been installed - the nettles have been cleared from this patch and other foliage has died back creating what we hope
will be an attractive view of the water come next spring.
